THE CHALLENGE:
A competitor installed a new stretch wrap machine line for the client and it presented an unexpected safety concern that halted production. Despite the machine itself being operational, the surrounding loading platforms was unstable—wobbling noticeably under even minimal weight. This created hesitation among staff and ultimately delayed the implementation of the new line. The customer needed a swift, reliable solution to ensure both safety and confidence in their equipment.
THE SOLUTION:
Our team activated immediately conducting an on-site evaluation to assess the structural integrity of the existing platforms and found detrimental flaws in the competitors design and execution. Leveraging the client’s original DWG files and our in-house SolidWorks capabilities, we rapidly engineered a custom solution: structurally sound, form-fitting replacement platforms designed to eliminate the instability.
Using our plasma table, we fabricated the necessary components in-house, allowing us to maintain full control over production speed and quality. We then handled the full lifecycle of the solution—delivering, installing, and field-testing the new platforms to ensure a perfect fit and immediate usability.
THE RESULTS:
With the new platforms installed, the customer was finally able to bring their stretch wrap line online with full operational confidence. The improved stability not only solved the initial safety concern but exceeded expectations. As a result, the client requested that our custom platforms be standardized across all future installations—turning a reactive fix into a long-term trusted solution.
